ABOUT

 

TNB have partnered with Tennis NSW to be the offical sanctioned provider of the Sydney Junior Team Tennis (SJTT) on the Northern Beaches.

 

This Tennis NSW sanctioned inter-club competition is open to all juniors. Our TNB junior competitions will remain the same as they have done so in the past and all players will still have their results sent to UTR. 

 

SJTT is for juniors who want to have fun, gain competition experience and take their game to the next level.

COMPETITION DETAILS

 

Saturday Premier League Juniors 

  • Commencement: 6th May 2023

  • Timeslots: 7:30am - 10:15am / 10:45am - 1:30pm (Home Team choice)

  • 8 weeks with finals and playoffs (subject to change)

  • No play in the holidays or long weekend

  • 2 player (min) team (mixed gender)

  • PL 1 21 years and under, PL 2 18 years and under

  • Matches played: home and away venues on the Northern Beaches

  • Matches count towards UTR

  • PL Division 1: combined Team UTR (13+) criteria to be eligible to enter

  • 2 sets of singles and 1 doubles each (Singles: 1v1, 2v2, 1v2, 2v1)

Saturday Juniors 

  • Commencement: 6th May 2023

  • Time: 7:30am -11am

  •  14 weeks with finals and playoffs (subject to change)

  • No play in the holidays or the long weekend

  • 3 players (min) team (mixed gender)

  • 18 years and under

  • Matches played: home and away venues on the Northern Beaches

  • Matches count towards UTR

  • Green Ball from grades 4 onwards 

  • 1 sets of singles and 2 sets of doubles each

Saturday ORANGE Juniors 

  • Commencement: 6th May 2023

  • Time: 11:30am-1pm

  • 8 weeks with finals and playoffs (subject to change)

  • No play in holidays or long weekend

  • 3 players (min) team (mixed gender)

  • 12 years and under

  • Matches played: home and away venues on the Northern Beaches

  • Matches count towards UTR

  • 1 sets of singles and 2 sets of doubles each

Sunday Juniors 

  • Commencement: 7th May 2023

  • Time: Division 1 8:30am - 11am

  • Time: Division 2 onwards 8:30am - 10:30am

  • 8 weeks with finals and playoffs (subject to change)

  • No play in the holidays or the long weekend

  • 2 players (min) team (mixed gender)

  • 18 years and under

  • Matches played: home and away venues on the Northern Beaches

  • Matches count towards UTR

  • Green ball from grades 3 onwards

  • Premier 1: 2 sets of singles and 1 set of doubles each (Singles: 1v1, 2v2, 1v2, 2v1)

  • Division 1 onwards: 1 set of singles and 2 sets of doubles each
